This cap is fabricated of a resin specially formulated to resist the effects of temperature and steam in autoclaving. Caps are provided with a glued-in rubber liner over which is firmly bonded a PTFE interface which provides a highly inert sealing face.

These reusable Corning® caps are fabricated specially formulated resin to resist the effects of temperature and steam in autoclaving. Caps have GPI 15-415 threads and are provided with a glued-in rubber liner over which is firmly bonded a Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) interface to provide a highly inert sealing face.
