The kit was especially designed to complement the Microsart® AMP Mycoplasma, Microsart® ATMP Mycoplasma and Microsart® RESEARCH Mycoplasma qPCR kits and to provide best performance in means of sensitivity and robustness for the detection of mycoplasma within a test sample.

Microsart® Geneprep combines the steps of filtration of a liquid sample, dissolution of the membrane filter, lysis of the collected microorganisms, DNA isolation and rehydration of the DNA in minimal volumes ready for PCR analysis, or any other DNA-based analysis method.
